Fort Hill Stadium was constructed in the 1930s by the Public Works Administration as part of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal. The field first opened for play in the fall of 1937 and was called Fort Hill Stadium. The name was changed in 1987 to Greenway Avenue Stadium...named after the street where it resides. The facility is shared by both Allegany and Fort Hill High Schools.

Prior to 1998 the field was natural grass. In 1998, the field was upgraded to an all weather prescription turf. The prescription turf was again replaced in time for the 2008 football season.

Turn Right on Oldtown Road (0.8 mile)
Turn Right on Edgevale Avenue (0.2 mile)
Turn Right on Kent Ave (0.1 mile)

WV Route 28 North cross over Potomac River into Maryland
Route 28 becomes Canal Parkway North (1.8 miles)
Stay STRAIGHT and merge onto MD-51 North / West Industrial Blvd (get in left lane for I-68 East) (0.2)
Turn RIGHT onto ramp for I-68 East and continue on I-68 East (0.4 miles)
