CUMBERLAND, MD - Unbeaten Perryville overcame five turnovers, stopped the vaunted Fort Hill ground attack to knock off the Sentinels, 20-14 in overtime, in a Class 1A state semifinal game.

Best in the West: Sentinels beat pesky Boonsboro 26-7
CUMBERLAND, MD - Garrett Clay was unstoppable, the offense scored four unanswered touchdowns, and the defense refused to take a back seat to anyone in a 26-7 victory over Boonsboro for the Class 1A West Region championship.

CUMBERLAND, MD - Dylan Clay did just about everything, the defense passed another test and the Fort Hill Sentinels moved a step closer to their ultimate goal with a 49-27 victory over Brunswick in their Class 1A West Region semifinal.

FROSTBURG, MD - Garrett Clay rushed for 289 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries and the undefeated and top-ranked Fort Hill Sentinels unloaded on the previously undefeated and second-ranked Mountain Ridge Miners in most every facet to come out of snowy Frostburg with a 41-0 victory.

CUMBERLAND, MD - Unbeaten and top-ranked Fort Hill made short work of Pittsburgh’s Carrick Raiders, scoring 30 first-quarter points on its way to a 51-8 victory.

CUMBERLAND, MD - Top-ranked and undefeated Fort Hill gained first downs on half of their offensive plays, 15 to 30, piling up 424 yards in overwhelming Southern, 62-6, Friday night at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

CUMBERLAND, MD - The undefeated Fort Hill Sentinels won their sixth game in a row with a 54-0 victory over the Maryland Academy of Technology and Health Sciences (MATHS) of Baltimore Saturday night at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

LIGONIER, PA - Playing on grass for the first time this season, the Sentinels (5-0) struggled at times to hold onto the football but eventually found a way to run away from the host Rams.

Sentinels stifle Taylor Allderdice
PITTSBURGH, PA - Fort Hill jumped quickly to a two-touchdown lead, then fought off the Taylor Allderdice Dragons through a physical first half, before turing the tables defensively in the second half to leave George Cupples Stadium with a 27-9 win.

CUMBERLAND, MD - The Sentinels ran right. They ran left. They ran up the middle. They did as they pleased behind outstanding line play from start to finish in a 50-13 drubbing of the defending and 16-time Pittsburgh City champion Commodores.

CUMBERLAND, MD - The Fort Hill backs used their tremendous speed to turn what coach Todd Appel described as “simple plays” into big ones and the defense spun another shutout as the Sentinels ran over Keyser, 42-0.

CUMBERLAND, MD - The Fort Hill offense got to show off its vast array of weapons and the offense was able to slow down the Silver Oak Academy speed in opening the season with a 43-0 rout as the Sentinels ran over the Rams on a humid Friday night at Greenway Avenue Stadium.
