CUMBERLAND, MD - In probably the biggest turnaround in the long series, the second-seeded Allegany Campers came back from a 14-0 deficit to roll over the top-seeded an previously unbeaten Fort Hill Sentinels, 35-14, for the Maryland Class 1A West Region championship Friday night at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

CUMBERLAND, MD - In a game that Fort Hill head coach Todd Appel described as a chance for just about everybody on the team “to get a piece of the pie,” the top-seeded and unbeaten Sentinels rolled over No. 4 Smithsburg, 45-0, Friday night at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

CUMBERLAND, MD - Top-ranked Fort Hill did all it needed to do in the first half to build a 35-0 lead, then waited out the second on a running clock and remained unbeaten with a 35-0 victory over the Rams Saturday evening at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

CUMBERLAND, MD - On a breast cancer awareness night with his players wearing pink wrist bands, Fort Hill head coach Todd Appel had to be tickled pink with the all-around play of the unbeaten top-ranked Sentinels in a 55-7 rout over Jefferson on a rainy and windy Friday night at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

CUMBERLAND, MD - In a battle between two top 25 teams in the state, the Sentinels prevailed 22-12 over Mount St. Joseph of Baltimore with Devin Lee running for a touchdown, throwing for a touchdown and picking off a pair of passes.

CUMBERLAND, MD - The quick-strike Sentinels, with seven plays covering more than 20 yards in the first half, built a commanding 26-0 lead and beat Keyser 29-8, in front of a near full house at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

CLINTON, MD - Dakota Welsh ran for 164 yards and Colton Sibley scored a pair of touchdowns as Fort Hill kicked off its season with a dominating 37-15 victory over over Surrattsville on a sunny, hot Saturday afternoon.
