Garrett Clay named Area Offensive Player of The Year
CUMBERLAND, MD - Garrett Clay is the recipient of the 2010 Morton W. Peskin Sr. Memorial Award as the Area Offensive Player of the Year. The Fort Hill running back rushed for an area-best 1,434 yards and 20 TDs.

CUMBERLAND, MD - For the second time in his three seasons on the job, Fort Hill head coach Todd Appel is the Coca-Cola Golden Helmet High School Football Coach of the Year.

Fort Hill’s Garrett Dolly named Area Player of The Year
CUMBERLAND, MD - Garrett Dolly is the recipient of the Cumberland Times-News Area High School Football Player of the Year. The senior end, linebacker led the Sentinels to nine wins and a region championship.

Dolly named First Team All-State, others receive Honorable Mention
CUMBERLAND, MD - Sentinel LB Garrett Dolly has been named First Team All-State on Maryland's Small School squad. Dolly led the Sentinels in tackles all three years he played at Fort Hill.

Dunbar denies Fort Hill in final seconds
BALTIMORE, MD - Quarterback Kevin Estep sneaks into the end zone with three seconds left on the clock to give Dunbar a 20-14 victory over Fort Hill Saturday afternoon in the Maryland Class 1A semifinals at Baltimore Poly’s Lumsden-Scott Stadium.

Sentinels shut down Miners, 25-0, win West Region
FROSTBURG, MD - The dominating Fort Hill defense allowed only a total of 76 yards with its sixth shutout of the season as the second seeded Sentinels defeated top-seed Mountain Ridge, 25-0, for the Maryland Class 1A West Region championship Friday night at Mountain Ridge Stadium.

FH rolls over Smithsburg
CUMBERLAND, MD - The speedy Clay brothers did it again, as Garrett Clay scored four touchdowns in leading second-seeded Fort Hill to a 42-6 win over third-seeded Smithsburg in the first round of the Class 1A playoffs Friday night.

Sentinels streak past Campers, win Homecoming 47-21
CUMBERLAND, MD - The special teams were special, the defense came up with some key turnovers and the Fort Hill Sentinels were able to get the ball in the hands of their speed players as they exploded in the second half to rout Allegany 47-21 in the annual Homecoming Game.

Fort Hill doubles its pleasure with Clay brothers
CUMBERLAND, MD - In Fort Hill’s explosive Homecoming victory Dylan Clay diced the Campers for 126 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, while his twin Garrett Clay ran over, through and around the Allegany defense for 97 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries in being named co-Offensive Player of the Game along with his brother.

CUMBERLAND, MD - Garrett Clay scored a pair of touchdowns and Joe Howser delivered in the clutch and scored the go-ahead touchdown as second-ranked Fort Hill rode a big second half to beat top-ranked Mountain Ridge, 20-16.

CUMBERLAND, MD - Fort Hill was 45 seconds, and one yard away from a chance to knock off a Class 4A Thomas Johnson team, but the Patriots’ defense came up with the biggest stop of the night on fourth-and-one with their backs against the wall to beat the Sentinels 21-17.

OAKLAND, MD - Second-ranked Fort Hill gave fifth-ranked Southern a giant dose of Garrett Clay on offense and a smothering defense posted its fifth shutout of the year in a 25-0 win on a damp, chilly night at Southern.

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, WV - Fort Hill scored at will and prevented winless Jefferson from doing much of anything at will as the Sentinels easily won their second game in a row, 59-0, Friday during the Jefferson Homecoming game.

CUMBERLAND, MD - A 28-point second quarter leads Fort Hill to a 42-0 victory over the Maryland Academy of Technology and Health Sciences (MATHS) Friday night at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

Martinsburg pulls away from Fort Hill, 42-10
MARTINSBURG, WV - Running back David Gladden scored three touchdowns and the Martinsburg Bulldogs took advantage of Fort Hill mistakes to defeat the Sentinels, 42-10, Friday night at Coburn Field.

Mount St. Joseph late TD pass stuns FH, 14-10
CUMBERLAND, MD - Quarterback Craig Constabile fired a perfect strike to Angelo Deshields in the corner of the end zone with just 1:22 to play to send the Gaels of Baltimore to a 14-10 win over Fort Hill Friday night at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

Defense dominates as FH shuts out Keyser, 24-0
KEYSER, WV - Fort Hill rushed for 248 yards and used a stingy performance by the defense in helping the Sentinels shut out Keyser, 24-0, Saturday at Alumni Field at Tornado Alley.

21-point third quarter leads to 35-0 win over Surrattsville
CUMBERLAND, MD - The Sentinels, up 14-0 after a bit of a lethargic first half, scored three touchdowns in the third quarter and dominated the second half in a 35-0 victory over Surrattsville on a warm, breezy opening night Friday at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

CUMBERLAND, MD - The Fort Hill Sentinels will host the second Queen City Quad Football Classic Saturday at Greenway Avenue Stadium, beginning at 3 p.m., with proceeds benefitting The League for Crippled Children.
